SAD LOSS. Legendary actress passed away today

Actress Pamela Salem, who portrayed James Bond in Eastenders, passed away at the age of 80. She is receiving a lot of praise from others.

In the Sean Connery-starring James Bond film Never Say Never Again, the adored actress portrayed Miss Moneypenny.

She appeared on ER, The West Wing, Doctor Who, EastEnders, and ER during her lengthy career.

“We are completely heartbroken to confirm the death of our dear friend and coworker Pamela Salem,” the Big Finish company stated.

In 1944, Pamela was born in Bombay, India. She attended the University of Heidelberg in Germany for her education.

The Central School of Drama in London is where she received her acting training. She then performed in repertory theater in York and Chesterfield.

The actress had a lengthy career in theater, television, and film, and she starred in plays by Pinter, Chekhov, and Shakespeare.

She relocated to Miami and then Los Angeles as the 1990s wore on. She starred in several popular dramas and cult sci-fi films around that time, including “ER” and “The West Wing.”

Her coworker on Big Finish, David Richardson, remarked, “We all loved Pamela Salem; she was beautiful.”

“She would travel alone from Miami for every recording session she had with Big Finish, with no fuss or drama.”

“She would arrive at the studio with the sweetest smiles, the biggest hugs, and frequently gifts.”

“She was an incredibly compassionate individual who showed genuine interest in everyone, including her co-stars, the production crew, guests, and guest actors.”

“She spoke excitedly about her Miami Beach home and how she wakes up to warmth and waves.”

“She knew everything about our lives, families, and life stories,” the speaker added.

She always felt close to me, despite the fact that we were separated by hundreds of miles and sometimes went months without speaking.

She always welcomed guests to stay with her in Miami.

“I regret not taking advantage of the offer because I no longer enjoy traveling internationally.”

“She appeared in many EastEnders episodes when I was a child and played Miss Moneypenny in Never Say Never Again.”

“She had small roles on The West Wing and ER after moving to the US.”

“Pamela didn’t take herself too seriously and had a great career.” Every time I worked with her, it was a delight.

“I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in my life; we had many wonderful days together.”

A “CERTAIN WOMAN”
Actress Karen Gledhill commented, “I’ve never worked with a nicer and more generous actor than Pam.”

“She assisted me on Remembrance of the Daleks, my first real TV job, back in the 1980s.”

“She guided me through an amazing yet somewhat frightening experience.”

“We grew close and always looked forward to seeing each other when we got back together.”

Working with Counter-Measures for nearly eight years was a delight. She was a unique individual whose skill and poise were as brilliant as the stars.

It is truly an honor to have collaborated with her.

“She was always saving and caring for dogs that were her friends; we also shared a love of dogs.”

“She will be sorely missed; she was so loved and respected.”

“Pamela brought the sunshine from Florida into the studio every time she entered,” he remarked.

“She loved the little things in life that make us all happy, like taking your dog for a walk on the beach. She was always smiling and happy.”

“She was endowed with many gifts, but her greatest talent was her ability to bring back your faith in people.”
